Photo: Night Owls Stay Alert Longer Than Early Birds



Early birds may be chipper in the morning, but they mentally wear out faster than night owls, an April 2009 brain-scan study reveals.

Morning types may still have the advantage, though, because their body clocks are better suited to traditional working hours, the researchers note.
