Photo: Croc Attack Sheds Light on "Disastrous" Conditions at Taiwan Zoo



A saltwater crocodile holds the hand of a veterinarian in its mouth after it attacked the worker at Taiwan's Shoushan Zoo on April 11, 2007. The attack was only the latest sign of trouble at a zoo that animal-welfare activists say is plagued by lax regulations, poor facilities, and uninformed staff.
