Photo: Looted Maya Treasure Returned Anonymously



Carved from volcanic stone, this 1,500-year-old Maya box was returned to authorities anonymously last week after looters had taken it from a cave in Guatemala. Experts say the priceless artifact may be a "missing link" that can fill in gaps in our knowledge of early Maya history.
