Photo: Peru Quake Kills Hundreds, But No Tsunami Threat



Residents of the southern coastal city of Ica, Peru, observe the rubble left over from a massive earthquake that hit the country on August 15.

The 8.0 magnitude quake was not strong enough to crack the ocean floor, which would have spurred a massive tsunami, experts say.
