Photo: Druids Committed Human Sacrifice, Cannibalism?



In 1984, scientists at the British Museum examine 2,000-year-old Lindow Man, likely a Celtic nobleman—and possibly a victim of ritual sacrifice at the hands of Druids.

Recent evidence that Druids committed cannibalism and ritual human sacrifice—perhaps on a massive scale—add weight to ancient Roman accounts of Druidic savagery, archaeologists said in a March 2009 documentary.
