Photo: Human Sacrifice Clues Found in European Stone Age Burials



Several skeletons of Stone Age people, including this skull with evidence of periodontal problems, have been uncovered at the Dolni Vestonice site in Moravia, Czech Republic.

More recently, a discovery of a multiple burial that contains the remains of a physically disabled teenager makes some scientists suspect a ritual sacrifice had occurred.
