Photo: Fewer Caribou Born as Warming Causes Missed Meals



Fewer caribou calves are being born in western Greenland, and those that are born have slimmer chances of surviving, a new study reports.

The decline is linked to shifts in the abundance of spring plants due to climate change, a phenomenon known as trophic mismatch.
