Photo: "Daisy Chains" of Fossil Creatures Found in China



A fossil chain of shrimplike marine organisms that lived around 525 million years ago has been unearthed in China, researchers reported in October 2008.

The 22 partial or complete chains represent a bizarre and previously unknown type of animal grouping that might be associated with migration, scientists say.
