Photo: Solomon's Temple Artifacts Found by Muslim Workers

These ceramic bowl sherds decorated with wheel burnishing lines were found recently in Jerusalem's holy Temple Mount by Muslim maintenance workers.

The artifacts may be the first physical evidence of human activity at the site during the first Jewish Temple Period, which lasted from the sixth to eighth centuries B.C.
