Photo: Perseids Dazzle, But Don't Endanger, Astronauts



Astronauts aboard the International Space Station (pictured in March 2008) should be able to see the meteors of the annual Perseid shower, which peaks in mid-August. Because of the space stations heavily armored hull, the astronauts should not expect any danger from the Perseids, NASA meteoroid expert Bill Cooke said.
