Photo: Egyptian Tomb of Noblewoman Found

The sarcophagus of a noblewoman who lived during Egypt's 27th dynasty (525 to 402 B.C.) was found recently in the Saqqâra necropolis south of Cairo.

The noblewoman's tomb, which was refashioned during later reigns, had been raided and her mummy stolen—but some figurines (above) were left behind.
