Photo: Warming to Create Previously Unknown Climates, Study Says



Global warming will redraw Earth's climate maps, causing climates to disappear from tropical mountains and circumpolar regions (middle) even as never before seen climates are created in tropical and subtropical zones (bottom), according to a new study. The predictions are based on a computer model that uses forecasts from the most recent report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.
