Photo: Colossal Squid Thawing; Hints at Even Bigger Beasts



Fishers haul up an accidentally caught colossal squid off Antarctica on February 22, 2007. The biggest squid ever caught, the giant was later frozen and is undergoing examination at a lab in New Zealand, including a thawing process that began on April 29, 2008.
