Hurricane Dean slammed Jamaica's southern coast Sunday (including Kingston, above) with winds of up to 140 miles (225 kilometers) an hour.


The Category 4 storm is expected to pick up speed as it makes a beeline for Mexico's Yucatán Peninsula.
