Photo: Brazil, India's Citizens Are Greenest, Survey Finds

The new "Greendex" survey has found that citizens of Brazil and India have the most environmentally friendly practices, while residents of the U.S. are most wasteful.

The results show a marked and concerning gap between the environmental attitudes of developed and developing nations, survey organizers say.
