Photo: Foxes Invade Tasmania, Create "Environmental Emergency"

Australia's island state of Tasmania is renowned for its large tracts of pristine wilderness.

But the recent discovery of a fox carcass is prompting fears that invasive foxes have established a foothold there, threatening many rare and endangered native species.
