Photo: Early "Human" Is Ape After All, Discoverer Decides

In June 2009 anthropologist Russell Ciochon reversed his 1995 conclusion that fossils found in China's Longgupo cave are from an unknown early human. Instead, he said, the fossils are from "mystery apes."
