Photo: Elephants Decimated in Congo Park; China Demand Blamed

In the neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo, 10 percent of the elephants of Virunga National Park have been killed in the first eight months 2008, largely due to Chinese demand for ivory, park officials say.
