Photo: World's Rarest Gorillas Gain New Refuge



Some of the world's rarest apes will be protected in a new sanctuary in Cameroon's mountains, the Cameroonian government announced recently.

As few as 250 of the critically endangered Cross River gorillas survive, scattered in small populations throughout Nigeria and Cameroon.
