Photo: Dino-Era Seabird Fossils Found in New Zealand



Fossil leg bones of ancient seabirds that lived around the time the dinosaurs went extinct were recently found embedded in rock on New Zealand's main Chatham Island.

The trove of fossils unearthed on a remote beach probably includes at least four species and two genera new to science, researchers say.
