Photo: English Less Diverse Than 1,000 Years Ago, DNA Study Finds



A modern re-enactor takes part in an annual show at the Jorvik Viking Centre in York, England. A new study has compared DNA from both ancient and modern Englanders and found that the country is less genetically diverse today than it was during the time of the Vikings a thousand years ago.
