Photo: Hurricane John Unlikely to Make Landfall, Forecasters Say



Hurricane John—now a Category Three storm in the Pacific Ocean—is expected to veer into open seas instead of making landfall. But the storm could still lash Mexico with rain, and even a small shift eastward in its path could send it crashing into resort towns lining the Baja California coast.
