Photo: Wounded Iceman Made Epic Final Journey, Moss Shows

The Iceman (seen above, in an illustration of his last moments) apparently dressed his own wounds with moss, a December 2008 study found.

The plant discoveries help piece together his last journey, showing that the fit 46-year-old traveled at least 37 miles (60 kilometers) in a few days.
