Photo: In Wake of Gorilla Murders, Isolated Group Offers Hope



A young mountain gorilla in Uganda's Bwindi Impenetrable National Park forages in the jungle canopy. Endangered Bwindi gorillas require more habitat and different conservation strategies than other populations of mountain gorillas. Of the 700 remaining mountain gorillas in the world, nearly half enjoy the relative security of Bwindi.
