Photo: Bee Buzz Scares off African Elephants



This group of elephants in Kenya's Samburu National Reserve—dubbed the Spice Girls—quickly retreated seconds after hearing recorded sounds of angry bees.

Their fear may be used to the advantage of farmers, who could use beehives or recorded bee sounds to deter elephants from raiding crops.
