Photo: Googling Fights Dementia, Study Suggests



Key brain regions in middle-aged and older people (such as this Alaskan man shown in an undated picture) are activated by frequent Web searches, an October 2009 study says.

The findings suggest that using search engines may help stave off memory loss and dementia, researchers say.
