Photo: First Tool Users Were Sea Scorpions?



Sea scorpions, like those seen above in an artist's conception, may have been the world's first tool users, according to an April 2009 study.

Odd fossil tracks found in Wisconsin suggest that the ancient sea beasts used other creatures' shells to help them breathe on land.
