Photo: Disaster Prediction, Social Networking Boosted by Geo-Data Feeds

A new computer standard called GeoRSS is now being employed to stream USGS earthquake data into tsunami prediction software. Developers say the GeoRSS application could have many future uses, from disaster warnings to social networking.
