Photo: "Hot" Rocks Found in Icy Comet



Shortly after landing, the capsule from NASA's Stardust spacecraft lies in the Utah desert on January 15. The mission retrieved material from an icy comet, including surprising minerals that formed in intense heat billions of years ago, scientists announced on March 14.
