Photo: Ancient Ruler's Tomb, Gold Trove Found in Bolivia Pyramid

Bolivian archaeologist Roger Angel Cossio cleans the remains of a 1,300-year-old tomb discovered in a pyramid in western Bolivia in March. Scientists believe the skeleton in the tomb belongs to a ruler or priest of the ancient Tiwanaku civilization, which spread throughout pre-Hispanic South America before vanishing around A.D. 1200.
