Photo: New Bat, Frogs Among Six Species Found in Congo



This bat and two frogs were among six new species recently found in a remote region of the war-torn Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Researchers on a two-month expedition earlier this year were some of the first scientists to enter the region, inside the Albertine Rift, in nearly 50 years.
