Photo: Clues to Pirate Gold Unearthed in Florida, Treasure Hunters Claim



A team of treasure hunters is digging at this site on the banks of Florida's Suwannee River in hopes of finding pirate gold. Local lore has it that 19th century smuggler Jean LaFitte may have buried chests of loot in the area.
