Photo: West African Black Rhino Extinct, Group Says



The southern-central black rhinoceros is one of six rhino subspecies native to Africa.

The West African black rhino, one of the most critically threatened subspecies, is now feared extinct, the World Conservation Union (IUCN) announced last week.
