Photo: Small Asteroid Caused Mysterious 1908 Blast, Study Says



Physicist Mark Boslough points out "hot spots" in the computer-generated image of a fireball he believes was created by an asteroid over Russia in 1908.

The asteroid that caused the huge explosion was much smaller than had previously been believed, according to his research.
