Photo: "Old Faithful" Orionid Meteor Shower Peaks This Weekend



Halley's comet as observed from Earth in 1986. Though it won't be visible from Earth for another 54 years, the famous comet will make its presence known this weekend, as Earth passes through its trail of dust, creating the Orionid meteor shower.
