Photo: Wayward Penguins Hitch Rides to U.S. on Fishing Boats



Humboldt penguins, which are native to Peru and Chile, have only been spotted in North America a handful of times, except in places like the Vancouver Aquarium, as seen here. A new study concludes that the rare, wayward birds found in the wild likely traveled north on fishing boats.
