Photo: T. Rex Was Slow-Turning Plodder, Study Suggests



Tyrannosaurus rex, a reconstructed skull of which is seen here, had the most formidable teeth and powerful jaws of any dinosaur.

But the "tyrant lizard king" was actually a slowpoke that turned like a tank, according to a new study. The latest findings add to a host of recent research portraying the dino as a plodding scavenger, not a fast, agile hunter as often seen in movies.
