Photo: Born Without Fingerprints: Scientists Solve Mystery of Rare Disorder



A human fingerprint is imaged using micro-X-ray fluorescence, a new technology in fingerprint detection. Scientists say they have isolated the genetic defect that causes people to be born without fingerprints.
