Photo: Dinosaur-Era Birds Surprisingly Ducklike, Fossils Suggest



In an artist's conception a Gansus yumenensis bird paddles in a lake about 110 million years ago in what is now northwestern Gansu Province, China. Despite the fact that it lived in the age of dinosaurs, Gansus is remarkably closely related to modern birds.
