Photo: Global Warming Causing African Floods, Experts Say



People inspect a bus and other vehicles that were overtaken by floodwaters last weekend in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Thirty people were killed and a hundred injured in the floods, driven by heavy rains that washed out roads, swept away bridges, and inundated crops. Some meteorologists are attributing the severe floods throughout Africa this year to global warming.
