Photo: Greek Wildfire Recovery Could Take Decades



A satellite image of Greece shows this summer's record wildfires, which burned an estimated 5 percent of the country and killed dozens.

Environmental groups are now pushing the Greek government to implement strong protective measures for burnt areas, fearing that development and livestock grazing will damage the regenerating forests beyond recovery.
