Photo: "Killer" Raccoons in Washington May Be Getting Bum Rap



Wild young raccoons raid a dog-food dish in the suburban town of Silver Spring, Maryland.

A pack of marauding raccoons reportedly killed ten cats and attacked a dog and a pet owner in Olympia, Washington. But at least one wildlife expert thinks the animals may not be getting a fair shake, since much of their reported activity is still unconfirmed.
