Photo: 5-Country Conservation Area Would Aid Africa's Largest Elephant Herd



Botswana's fertile Okavango Delta would be part of a proposed new cross-border conservation area in southern Africa.

The five-country zone would also include the region of Victoria Falls between Zambia and Zimbabwe, Botswana's Chobe Reserve, Namibia's ecologically diverse Caprivi Strip, and a vast, sparsely populated area spanning the Angola-Zambia border.
