Photo: Hurricane Forecast Revised Downward



Tropical storm Chris, seen here on August 2, is one of just three named storms to form in the Atlantic Basin so far this hurricane season. Scientists at Colorado State University have downgraded their 2006 hurricane forecast, saying that three—not five—major storms will develop in the Atlantic this year.
