Photo: Lemurs Hunted, Eaten Amid Civil Unrest, Group Says



Cooked crowned lemurs and golden crowned sifaka are seen on their way to an upscale dinner table in Madagascar.

Following a March coup d'etat, the rare primates are being illegally killed and sold to restaurants as a "luxury" delicacy, conservationists said in August 2009.
