Photo: Michael Vick Fighting Dogs Get "Rehab" Care

Little Red, a pit bull seized last year from football star Michael Vick's estate, rests near staff member Ed Fritz at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. Vick is serving a 23-month prison sentence for his role in an illegal dog-fighting ring on his property in Virginia.

Out of 48 dogs rescued from the operation, 22 now live at the no-kill animal shelter, where many could need lifetime care, experts say.
