Photo: Panda Finds Way Home to Reserve After China Quake

Employees of the Wolong National Nature Reserve race a panda to safety in a still image taken from a cell phone video on May 12, not long after a magnitude 8 quake ripped through central China.

More than a dozen cubs were safely evacuated, but three adult captive pandas were confirmed missing from the reserve on May 19.

One of the pandas returned home to the reserve on May 20, according to state media reports.
