Wildlife rangers Innocent Buranumwa, left, and Diddy Mwanaki have patrolled Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of the Congo for more than a decade. Working under the threat of attack and sometimes without rations or pay, they help monitor and protect the park's endangered mountain gorilla population.
