Photo: Mysterious Ailment Could Wipe Out U.S. Northeast Bats

Scientists are hoping that the summer emergence of pregnant females will help them finally identify the cause and extent of the mysterious affliction, which is killing tens of thousands of bats in the U.S. Northeast.
