Paedocypris micromegethes, a tiny, translucent fish, is among 52 new species found within the past year on the Southeast Asian island of Borneo, according to a new report from WWF, the international conservation organization.

The fish, seen up close (left) and on the tip of a human finger (right), is the world's second smallest animal with a backbone.
